Weapon Progress

This  is a very exciting time to be working on Project: White, we have just welcomed Stefan   (Jigsaw)  a new programmer and audio maestro to the team . His main focus will be on weapon programming and audio so we will start to see more  progress on the weapon’s  front.

Since i joined the project i have been working on the weapon models which i have to say has been great fun, especially working from Reiji and Matt’s concepts because they are great artist’s. At the moment the weapon models are quite low poly (for the unreal engine anyway) at around 3000 – 4000 Tris. We feel that this is more than adequate for the first release and plan on adding higher detailed models along the way.

Matt has commenced the textureing of the assault rifle and i am getting ready to texture the Pistol and the longbow so you can look forwards to some shiny screenshots in the future :)

Remember we are still looking for team members in all departments so if you’re interested just shoot one of the team an email or join the irc there is always one of us in there.

And to prevent this post from just being a large wall of text here are a couple of screens of a prop i’m working on for one of Dave’s maps. The texture still needs lots of work.
